Guess there will be no more characteristic on their individual models as it makes an easier job for the designer and sharing of parts make it cheaper for the manufacturer too.

Bigger Version = Camry, Medium Version = Axio, smaller version = Vios

All sharing the same shape = > Boring! thumbsdown.gif

For u, sound like KIA is the best. [:)] BTW, med size is still Altis (yet to lanuched)

nice.

but the rear legspace is equivalent to 2 cup holders?????? (see pic)

that's [sweatdrop]

This is a VIOS you are talking about. Cheap econobox. You expect legroom like a Phaeton?

it's an unfair comparison.

but anyways, Altis is better in terms of comfort and it's a quieter ride.

Thanks bro. Yah I also think its unfair but I sat in an Altis before so using it as a "benchmark". [:p] Think I shall wait for the G10 corolla and see. Comfort and noise very important to me...hee..

G10 Corolla has a very good EuroNCAP crash rating (Check "www.eurocap.com")... Not bad for a Tomyam rolla. Anyway, I just put down $1050 deposit for the new Toyota Vios aka Belta from BM. Booked the "E" Auto model at $52988 (after locking in the $1K early bird discount). I have the option to cancel the deal and get every cent back if I do not like the car after test-drive once BM launched the car end of Mar.

Wah u booked it already? Does the "E" model come with leather seats by default?

I'm seriously contemplating getting it too... but the price now is so much higher than the old Vios. I remember the old 1.5E (A) was only $45k at its lowest. Is $52988 before or after the $1k early bird discount? Did u manage to get any additional freebies like fog lights and solar films?

Sorry got so many qns. The BM website dun even have any info or specs on the new Vios.

Hi !

Do you this is it partially b'cos of new vios, altis price is also up to 57,888?

Seems it is much higher as compared to previous months. I guess a lot of back log bookings until they can jack up the price [hur]
