Suze Neutral Newbie March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 Looking for a 2nd hand 1-2 year old Toyota Vios or Nissan Latio, auto. Please PM details to me. Thanks.
Sq123 Neutral Newbie March 19, 2007 Share March 19, 2007 I'd booked one yesterday too! Booked the J model, as the SE says nobody knows what the 2.5k extra to E models includes (other than extra airbag) at this moment. Anyway, my SE mentioned still can change if I want when the car arrived end of the month, so doesn't matter which model I book yet. But she insisted that I must choose the colour already. difficult to choose when I dun even know how the car's going to look like leh. Just curious, what colour did you (those who'd booked) choose ah?
Quantum 5th Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 why don't wait the car come and test drive? any early bird benefit?
Carcraze 1st Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 (edited) colours available for new vios -white, black, blue, maroon, silver, med-silver and champaigne (only saw these colours at port). what colour did you choose? "difficult to choose when I dun even know how the car's going to look like leh" you can go to www.toyota.com.th to view the car. alternatively, do a google image search (type: yaris sedan or toyota belta) Edited March 20, 2007 by Carcraze
Longg8 Clutched March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 i think for those who booked the new vios...its gd to know that new vios is getting : 1)rear drum brake 2)single airbag (for basic model, old vios basic model 2 airbags) 3)same engine as the old vios and yet paying more for it (dunno about the OMV,bt shd be ard the same) im neutral and juz stating the facts. *peace*
Hi577 Clutched March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 just booked the new vios today.2 sum more!....anyway been told by the SE it is the same engine as the old vios.omv was quoted at $14k if not mistaken.....by the way i wat convinced me to make booking was the refundable booking fees if upon test drive and viewing u dislike the car.i mean it is only fair tat they do tat since no model of the car is in showroom yet.so i guess if u dun like the car all u need is write to the sale dept for a refund....hopefully i dun need to do that since coe prices r expected to rise after 21/03.else i haf to source out other cars. Kaka23 3rd Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 is the new vios a 1.6L car? if so how will it fair if compared with a 1.6L civic interms of FC, legspace and performance?
DarkLord 1st Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 haiz.... if onli the meter is in front of the deriver...... I used to hate the center console so much but end of the day, I still bought a Vios!

Carcraze 1st Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 the same 1.5l unit from the previous VIOS has been carried over (which is also used on the Yaris-hatchback). The VIOS and the CIVIC are two different class of cars. The Vios is a compact sedan and the Civic is a mid-size sedan. So it's unfair compare to compare these two cars. But anyways, the Vios would definitely have better FC figures. Legroom is definitely better in the Civic -the same can be said for the performance aspect. Kaka23 3rd Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 besides the consideration that both are different class of cars, is it fair to say vios is a better car just because it has better FC, same performance and its cheaper than the Civic? I still prefer civic though
Beei 1st Gear March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 civic performance is better than vios... and it's a bigger car in term of engine, space, size...different class...how to compare...
Clazio71 Neutral Newbie March 20, 2007 Share March 20, 2007 Chio man.... Looks so classy and elegant for a Toyota car and will definitely be a hit here pretty soon...
