Sometimes I dun know lor.. This few years down, the prices of new cars keep dropping.. Something like computers' prices, you just wait for maybe 6mths, you can save 4-5k on the car you wanted to buy..

 

Also another thing is, nowadays, 1 to 3 years cars, the COEs are so high and after being sold by the 2nd hand dealers, they will be upped another few Ks.. So what they tell you, high paper value??? High paper value means higher depreciation!!!

 

So the point is, want to buy, buy new cars, more worth it..At least you get to enjoy the feeling of taking possession of a NEW car..

I think lengendcf has said it. Overall becos of the lower prices of car now compared even to 2-3 yrs back, the depreciation even if u get something like this colt is very similar to a brand new car now. This makes 2nd hand car very unattractive unless its priced much lower e.g like the 2-yr equivalent of a current new car price.
