go with electric hybrid first la. i juz clocked 19.1km/l for last tank on my civic hybrid. on previous ride, it would have been 10km/l.

I see. They were offering the Actyon w/ cng conversion at the same price, thru using the bi-fuel rebate I heard ... wonder if that is a good deal.

 

I understand the CNG conversion is around $3.5k ... what is the rebate for having a bi-fuel vehicle?

C&C have Merc NGT which is already on bi-fuel. If I have the $ i'll buy that. For now since I have 6 more years to drive and save some $ I end of life this car and export it out good value. Wish me luck again.LOL 6 years time.

Best you call LTA 1800 hotline they are better at answering this. All I know commercial sure get when registered as new cars. The rest very gray area.

Agreed I think battery alone cost ard that price 1800. Wonder how long the battery last in our climate. Need the ppl who have hybrid to share with us this info.

I believe the 40% rebate on OMV is an incentive from the government, so not sure when it ends. Vehicles registered as NGV vehicles from new will get this rebate, which can be used to offset the other taxes payable to the government on registration.

I think i become the role model for onlookers. Overnight become famous ppl just keep asking me stupid question on power loss and so on. Famous Q - got power or not...LOL I just a humble man and not a show off. I just want to save cost. I want power press button = power lorr which is petrol. Ah yoh ppl ahh .... if can i dun need the green diamond sticker but was told by law lahh for civil defence to note in case of emergency. So please not for show off wan lahh ppl. I just wanna live in peace and burn gas!

I think it applies to all Green Vehicle not only to NGV vehicle rite? That is y very detail have to go to one-motoring and read or call the friendly ppl at LTA they will help we paid our road tax sure they will help ...LOL

Same as when you buy a electric hybrid. Difference is that your car is many times cheaper.
