Would like to share some of my CNG conversion pictures.

Taken on 4th day of the conversion process.

Tank is made in China, instead of Brazil. [:/]

so zilch when you convert to bi-fuel.. [:(]

I notice most of the installation is one big tank.

Do the tanks come in smaller sizes, ie. can stack one on top of another and yet have space for a 12" subwoofer at the side? [nod]

60L tank, i usually pump 10+kg of CNG after CNG system runs out of CNG.

Yes, looks decent before they put up the partition. With the partition, i have left about 40% of the boot space only.

aiyah. Not the one at the main road. The perling exit always jammed one leh....

sian 1/2. [:(]

Hi,

The construction of the highways are almost finished as of April 2008.

You may want to know that now the jam has sorta IMPROVED greatly and may even be a thing of the past a few months down the road after the construction is completed.

I was told that from Perling mall and if u want to enter Jalan Skudai back to JB custom, last time the traffic lights and jams will put u there for at least 20 minutes.. Now all the traffic lights after Perling mall has been removed and its a ONE way, all the way down right into Jalan Skudai back to JB Custom.

I havent had a chance to try but I can see a big improvement there.

Jusco in Bukit Indah construction is at breakneck speed. I can see that next year this time it should be operational already and many more singaporeans will go there since its just NEXT to the 2nd link highway exit and a 20 minute drive from 2nd link.

ya thats true though. The flyovers are done. Now they are clearing some mess. But currently it's a potential accident area coz the road markings are misleading.

Hmm but I will try to check TamanU / Tun Aminah's Petronas to see if they have NGV.....

Very nice! What size is your cylinder? 40L?

edit: Oops sorry noticed that you mentioned 60L in another reply of yours. If I were you, I think I will not do the box......

Mine is converted by Scantruck.

List of installers who i can think of:

- C Melchers

- Mova Automotive

- Scantruck

- SO NGV

Note: Once you have decided which installer to go to, please make a trip down to installer to book the appointment and get the papers signed. My experience with Scantruck is that i cannot book a slot for conversion over the phone. Besides i believe now all the installers should have overwhelming response, so over the phone they might be able to answer your queries.

Cheers

The partition is included in the conversion package, and it caters to my dad's requirements for the CNG conversion. He wants everything to do swee swee one, even though the thing does not practically serve any purpose.

No worries, we are all here to learn and share. I do benefit a lot from MCF.

I believe C Melchers allows payment by credit cards, and also tied up with some credit cards company to provide instalment plans.

For Scantruck, they are still working on the credit card payment mode as of when i last check with them. So for my conversion i have paid the payment in cash, payment upon on completion of installation.

I do not have any info about the rest of the 2 installers.

Cheers
