For Melchers it is SGD3900 excluding GST.

But the early batch like you didn't pay so much right? Too bad, there aren't worthy competitors in CNG installation so the price probably will stay there, may go up further due to rising prices across the board.

Can i check with guys, for a new CNG car, it is advisable to run in with CNG or petrol first or doesn't matter. [sweatdrop]

Foresight helped me a lot. I reckon oil prices will shoot up to 200/barrel. CNG is my hedge. For a 3.4k investment, it turned out to be pretty good. My inspiration was from a Malaysian convert who posted his experience of making his friends take the last laugh when he converted. Even though tuning issues had to be ironed out, he persevered and is rewarded.

I almost did it the last time...but was considering changing car and can't get over the weight, space and availability issues for now.

Yes. Explains why whatever 1.0 lambda we idle or 0.83-0.85 lambda is burned off with a longer revv to 2.8kRPM to gain that torque while moving if we are pressured from behind. Else 2.3-2.5kRPM upshifts seems OK.

Getting to cruise is really critical for CNG.

In the end, the dollar wins. Mandai has raised prices but SembGas has not. I see massive defections.

Its a 10cent increase from 1.28/kg.

I'm using them until my card runs out of cash.
