All staff of Singapore Technologies enjoy this benefit. I believe you have to pay a fee of $3 monthly, which is worth it for the 14% discount you get at Caltex.

 

Yes. I've the 14% discount by paying thru the VC(viewer's choice) Caltex card, but i don't have to pay the monthly $3 fee....they never ask for it.

 

Am interest how you got the loyalties points and additional discount to clock the 18%! Pls enlighten me, bro.

Indeed, don't get the card for the sake of the petrol discount only. They're many other benefits, sign up if you find the card useful, at least you are going to benefit from few other discounts.

Shell is not worth pumping, simply 'cos you get the least points.

 

Eg. Shell 95 @ $1.58/l

 

Say you pump $50, you get 31.64l. You get only 32 points.

 

Had I pumped $50 at Caltex, I get 50 points.

 

Shell - 350 points = $10 pettrol voucher

 

Caltex - 300 points = $10 petrol voucher

 

Which is more worth it?

 

Is it the Caltex star card that you are talking about regarding the $1 - 1 point? I cant find any info on their website.

caltex website is very user-unfriendly and not updated.. They have the thanks! card. $1 = 1 point.

A good deal. Plus additional 5% discount from ocbc or hsbc card(just rcv a sms saying their discount is still on for a limited time only).

me decided to check further on this corporate card thing..

 

i was mistaken again.. it offers 14% of petrol discounts, so if pay by HSBC card, can get as much as 19% discount. HOwever, it needs to be paid via GIRO.. and there are a few benefits as well..

Wrong lar....can only pay by using Viewer choice card (14% standard) or HSBC (additional 5% ontop of site discount). At one time using only one card to pay.

Caltex Corporate card is a charge card, so that means you can't use the HSBC card with it (anyway I heard HSBC no more link, now it's OCBC). The Corporate card gives 14% no matter what. I got mine thru SAF.

HSBC give 5% disc + station 5% + loyalties 3.3% = 13.3% MAX
