The coffee shop at my block increased the price of a cup of coffee by 10 cents last mth, citing rising GST to 7%.

 

Today, they raised prices by another 5 cents, this time citing higher diesel prices (almost $1.20/litre now)

THis corporate card... you have to pay a monthly subscription fee of $3-5

when u pump they give u points. trade the points for fuel vouchers. it sums up to a 3% savings

Its not a 19% total. He got it wrong

 

Caltex has fleet cards for temasek holdings.

The card gives 14% regardless price

It u have loyalties points. It will sum up to a 17.3% disc.

They also have a credit card which entitles another 1% disc.

Total 18.3% disc (MAX)

When u pump u have to pay admin fees of $2 per mth. But u pump alot, they might waiver 1 yr free. LOL!!

 

It also give u free towing service. [:p]

Caltex - 300 points = $10 petrol voucher

 

Shell - 350 points = $10 pettrol voucher

 

Is Zzzz Caltex Better ?........... [laugh][laugh]

 

Sounds good [thumbsup] . Shell gives further 3% discount with uob card. Caltex gives any if use uob card?

 

Caltex give 5% for Using.....OCBC and HSBC....... [idea]

Boycott such coffee shops that exploit the increase in GST. If cup of coffee increase from 60 to 70 cents, that's a 16.67% increase. Smacks of profiteering.......

guys, forget about uob or dividend cards.. can try the standard chartered xtra saver.. maintain monthly 6k there u get 7% on top of station discounts, 20k u get 10% on top.. thumbsup.gif

i just got my Citibank Dividend but this standard chartered xtra saver card offers much better discount in petrol use [:)]

but the standard chartered card required min saving in the account that earns pathetic interest.

Hi Bro,

My company also under Temasek and I've the caltex fleet card (14%) too. However, I do not know abt the loyalties pts, the credit card discount. Can you pls elaborate more so that I can check with my HR too. Thanks.
