Hi, Just went to yew lip for angie to quote on my bumper spray, she quote, for spraying whole bumper is $180. is that exp? do they use the orginal paint? any bro have experience with her work done ?

bro, no such thing as original paint. as long they got the colour code for your ride, its there liao...the impt thing is how good their skill is..

I did mine at $150 at frankel workshop. The workshop is very close to the SingTel blue building just after airport road...

Paid $100 at a workshop at Ubi Rd 1, got a cheaper price as I was introduced by my friend.

 

Paint and primer used was Nexa Autocolour and, they took my fuel filler cap as sample and colour code for reference for a proper match, a 500ml tin costs $25.

 

I was also given the choice to use Dupont but it was much more expensive.

what i'm worry here is whether spray already will there be a different tone of colour. I have a friend after spraying a metallic silver on the door, the color look diff between the door and the car body. so he went back to the work shop and the guys claim that is he use the same color code. so my friend LL.

If car is not new.. thereby subject to sun & rain.. and due to frequent polishing.. the car color would be lighter than the color from color code..

 

I had one experience from a workshop recently.. color sprayed according to color code was darker.. the workshop re-spay again according to physical body color matching..

i also just got my bumper respray at yew lip..very good service..she also spray my door handle for free as the paint get knock off by someone's door..maybe paying abit more for premium aftersales service.
