Kaka23 3rd Gear May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 My uncle paid quite a significant sum of money for the number 6 years ago. However he said nowadays people are getting less interested in the numbers. His friend paid a thousand odd for the number 6666. Does the amount of numbers bother you peeps? If you have a nice number share it with us along with the price you paid for it. :) ↡ Advertisement
Kelpie 2nd Gear May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 IMHO, many of these numbers will be on lelong once they introduced perosnalized number plates. May be S plates will still command a premium but I'm not quite sure about others. Regards,

Sony 1st Gear May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 when buying a number, it's not just the number but the alphabet as well.. thus a 6666 on one plate will differ to another... Anyway, if people are thinking of bidding a number just to make money in future, then it's a risk they have to take. there's also others who bid a number for other reason. Sadly, to the commoners, they don't understand it. Everything associated with money must be speculative and a money making tools for them. Again, I'm sounding like a elite as I write this. I'm in elite mood today. Ask me another day and the answer will be more humble.
