Most cars often go at 70 on 50 roads, I was checking the One Motoring site, and there is pdf which gives speed limits for all roads in Singapore. Speed Limits for all roads Did you know Mount Pleasant Road is only 40km/h???? I often do 70 or 80 there!!! I think the TP wants to follow our education system all drivers need to remember the speed limit of all the roads in singapore. Steptronic Supercharged May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 Instead of a single number (50, 60, 70, 80 or 90) they should put up a range. 1 number for lower and 1 number for upper. Unless your car's speed is controlled by a robot, it is impossible to constantly keep to a single speed. Having a lower range also serves as a warning to road hoggers who think that as long as below speed limit is ok (like 60kph on a 90kph highway) oops, the speed limit is maximum speed at which you can drive and it never tells that you need to be constantly driving at that speed limit. The speed limit of the road or exceed the speed limit in order for you to over take..assume the car that you want to over take is travel at constant speed of 70km/hr (speed limit 70km/hr) Overtake him by travelling faster lo. Even if go above the speed limit. Up to you to decide if you want to. If you want to keep within the speed limit and the car on second lane is travelling at the speed limit already then go back to the second lane since you are not doing any overtaking.
