i am not wanting to buy that car... i juz wanted to know what is the appeal of the brand and what draws consumer to buy it...

 

and yep i totally agree with what u said... not practical and now powerful coupled with exhorbant prices...

 

Well, to draw an analogy, why would people want to buy a entry level Porsche when the same amount of money can probably get him/her a M3,M5 etc. I guess it is about driving a different car, and daring to be different, and not driving a mass market/ top seller in SG. I don't think mini owners are rich, most people owe the bank monies.

The Mini is an icon. Its hard to put a price to that. Plus all Minis handle rather well.

The Cooper and Cooper S also offer gd performance, esp the Cooper S, but their prices are a bit over the top if u ask me.
