Hi Bros,

I'm driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Manual... and I was wondering if there are any recommendations for car servicing workshops that deal with Lancers other than C&C's workshop? Seems they charge really high price...cannot take it already :P

Is River View good enough? also deal with Lancers?

Any workshop can do servicing unless u got something specific such as aircon that needs to inspect and repair then perhaps its is better to go to specialized ws

Riverview is recommended here but i had not went there yet.

Recently i went to Huat Lee at blk 1063 eunos ave 4 #01-203. u might want to give nigel a call at 6747 5823 to book a timing. they are using motul engine oil [thumbsup]

Nope, i'm driving a Honda City. I heard Huat Lee specialize in Toyota cars.

They charged me $110 for my recent basic 70K servicing using 5W30 motul engine oil

Price is quite standard everywhere. Oh, they will rotate and balance yr tire too. previously i went to stamford and charges abt the same. whatever it is sure cheaper than C&C

Neutral Newbie

I frequent AutoSaver @ Defu Lane, and find the mechanics there are quite pro. They kind of specialize in Nissan/Toyota makes.

Thanks. looks like there are many good workshops around. How many cars can AutoSaver service at one time?

Autosaver @ defu lane has 3 lanes (each with the lifting machine). But it depends on the mechanics available on the day itself. Normally I would say...round 3 servicing @ the same time..

Experience counts but you can't have people with no proper training hacking and joining parts together too. =======================================

See this all the time at the AD's. [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Many mechs without formal traning seems to have go the wrong experience , they just follow bindly what thier lead hands or foremen do. Practice without theory is definetly blind.
