Chemz Clutched July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 nice read.. but in this case, won't the jetta conflict with the passat?
Sirbrian Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 ya infact in look so much like a passat....especially from the rear...only can tell the diff interior of course and the exterior front. I like the last 3 para conclusion: "Finally, for $111,000 the all wheel drive Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT might be another consideration, but the rather disappointing engine and transmission are worlds apart from that of the Jetta

Foxbat1978 Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 its look like the golf GT with a boot.. its just a luxury executive sedan to market alongside with 3 series and is250 etc.. another choice for car buyers
Kyousuke Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 I haven't seen a Jetta used as a Taxi in China. Only Satana2000 and Passat
Kyousuke Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 Please, how can you compare a 3 series or IS250 with a Jetta. You need at least a Passat
Nikolaiski Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Author Share July 24, 2007 bro ah...I'm sure Subaru will give additional discount packages off the $111K list price lor... VW is rather strict with their price with not much "preferential" discounts anymore... So in the end i suspect you might be paying even cheaper for a Legacy 2.5GT... However if you can afford, the Jetta really alot more fun than the LGT, despite the lack of 4 wheel drive. Consumption wise, I dunno...maybe I should compare one day -sick grin-
Foxbat1978 Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 Please, how can you compare a 3 series or IS250 with a Jetta. You need at least a Passat bro, got the volks badge can already.. branding sells.. some of us just go for brands
Bigbear Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 (edited) No display model at VAG showroom last weekend yet. SE mention price is about 81k for the 1.6 litre instead of 76k as published in Straits Times Car Review Edited July 24, 2007 by Bigbear

Please share with me your view cos now I'm thinking whether it is more worth the money for a LGT leh. Since some bro say got better discount.
