Meecar Clutched August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 if there are no discussion how to move forward many people like myself want to know more about them so that we can learn to respect them as members of our society more in short, i disagree that any "handicap" in our little red dot is useless not every school drop out is another lost cause ... look at bill gates .... seriously, if we cannot stage protest, can even discuss in public than how to move forward have anyway here drive a car with only two gears ..... Friendstar Supercharged August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 (edited) btw... can people stop quoting bill gates's example? he's not considered a school dropout becos he realized he can do something much more if he were to leave sch right away. Meaning, he's not a typical average "ah beng" sch drop out but a person who exactly knows wat he wanted in life. Same goes for classic example like yahoo, google founders etc. Edited August 5, 2007 by Friendstar
Friendstar Supercharged August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 What's wrong with the ban? Religiously speaking, Homosexuals are not encouraged. And 95% of the world today has a religion.
Cavver 4th Gear August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 Actually with/with out discussion, life still move on... Just blame yourself why you ar a gay... or rather why dont you birth @ countries that allow gays...
Sotong_kia Neutral Newbie August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 (edited) Interesting.. other than Islam and Christianity, most other religion do not touch on this topic.. The recent Dalai Lama I think last year, when asked about his view on homosexuality, his response is that of acceptance and tolerance.... And speaking of which, I believe in Singapore, Christianity is still not the majority, based on Singapore Census... http://www.singstat.gov.sg/pubn/popn/c2000sr2/t38-45.pdf Even Christians and Muslims add up do not form even 30% of those aged 15 and above.. why is this minority imposing their religious views on the majority ? Where did the 95% come from ? Even in Singapore, ppl who said they have no religion formed about 15% in the census data. Compared to even the whole 4.5 million population, that is 8%... Sure, I think 95% of the African world believes in Slavery.. why go against it ? 95% of Indians still believe in the Caste system... 95% of the world last time believes women should be seen and not heard.. not only the Asian world, but in Western world as well.. Why must we change our laws ? Women are born women.. blame themselves for not being born into a tribe in an isolated island where woman is king... Keep your religion and moral stands to yourself. Most other religions are more tolerant... Anyway, to Meecar, if you are really interested to find out more, a good starting place is to visit http://www.yawningbread.org/ There are activists out there.. Internet is easy to search.. Just treat homosexuals as any one else.. This is a car forum.. lets not get seditious here, as anything said about any one religion here is contravening our Seditious Act... Gnoikj Neutral Newbie August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 To be honest..homosexuality isn't something new...its been around for as long as we've known...Plato's idea of platonic love subversed into the current expression of love as we know it today... Yes, strictly speaking major opponents to homosexuality are islam and chirstianity...still, as far as i know, Catholics have always adopted the approach of loving the sinner but hating the sin...
