I can't recall there's another trilogy that gets better with the next episode except for this one. Harry Potter is different...

Looking forward to the latest edition to see how MD raise the bar.

Lord of the Ring?

I am just glad Matt Damon agreed to come do the upcoming installment. The last one was great but kinda sad that Matt Damon thought nahhhh, wouldn't want to do it and they ended up focusing on the perspective of another fella in CIA in the same micro universe.

I do appreciate that they went through the pains of doing that instead of taking the shortcut of simply getting a replacement outright for the main protagonist.

Otherwise I would really feel the transient awkwardness. Much akin to how I feel when I just watched a Bond film that just had a change of actor.

Hey that guy is just not doing it right!

Just watched the latest installment released with a friend who is also a Jason Bourne fan on last Friday evening.

Without giving away any spoilers, the film has very good pace and definitely evolved with the times.

As usual, director Paul Greengrass's handycam style can make you feel a bit groggy at times, but overall still acceptable.

Many location filmings, so that's a plus too; plus solid two hours of nonstop action, so it never slows down.

Do watch it if you're a Jason Bourne fan like me.

Was hoping the director and MD could raise the bar...but nope, it maintained the same as per the 3rd. Great but not any better.

All the boxes were ticked but the plot was too familiar to the The Ultimatum. Also find it a little propaganda-ish with questions of what people perceive how the agencies and corporations could do with the personal data and of privacy concerns etc all in the grand name of National Security.

TLJ's acting was almost like he played in The Fugitive decades ago.

Didn't watch The Legacy or any of DC's bond movies cos I don't like him - he could play well as an expressionless SHIELD agent though.

The scene in the streets of Athens with handheld cams was a tact too long, some may feel 'maboh'...

Overall, an entertaining one...just watch without expectations and you should find worth in terms of money and time.

A 3.5 popcorns out of 5 from me.

If anyone is interested, stay behind for an updated version of "Extreme Ways" after the movie. The movie was still great after all these years, and the girl is hot!!

Watched it yest. I rarely watch movies in cinemas liao. Haiz. But yest had the chance. Wife wan2 had her hair done. So i send her to do her hair while i go watch show. Haha.

And watched my fav bourne.

Its action packed show. Seems less talking more action. Haha. Same style as ultimation as one said here. Which is a good thing.

4 out of 5 stars and i hope the next installment comes quicker. Dun let us wait 9yrs to see matt damon as bourne

Actually trying not to be spoiler here. Those car along Vegas no airbag installed?

Hahaha

Yes this sequel they didn't mess up the Bourne trilogy. Some trilogy gotten worse from precious. The only downside matt age a lot. I look at myself me too aged from the last sequel. Hahaha

He looks like a younger Jack Nicholson in the trailers...

Channel 5 is screening Bourne Legacy now.

My bad...it wasn't DC but Jeremy Renner as the lead actor in the edition without MD.

Expressionless, nonetheless.

watched the bourne trilogy last 2 nights before jumping into jasonbourne2016 today . . . .

after 12yrs, its sure MD aged quite a bit . . . . all his moves this times are no way matches his last 3, especially the ultimatum . . .

but the car wrecking scenes (more then a hundred smashed!) in the neon streets in vegas were spectacular though

story & plots wise, guess many fans here oledi commented - nothing unusual out-of-the last 3 . . . .

in fact, looks like jb2016 picks up quite a bit from the identity where bourne left the taped narration video in heather's car towards the end;

macham she's been spied (again)...

all along, i always tot nicky would have survived and worked along more with jb, quite a letdown to see her died just like that . . . . even b4 half of the show, sigh

afterall, its still worth the entertained . . . .

if the ultimatum was given 4 out of 5 pops, then jb2016 would survive with 2-3 of 5 then

the extreme soundtrack was worth sitting back to listen once again . . . . .

Next Coming . . . .

jack reacher, never go back (tom cruise) . . . . anyone fans?
