Due to most tyre workshops are closed on weekend evening, we drove to Balestier wkshop , was quoted Nanking normal tyre $100 /pc hur.gif and other normal around $140+hur.gifhur.gif think wanna chop me in such situation..

As a matter of fact, they think that they are the only one you could find to change the tyre and that at that time, you can't get it somewhere else....

made in msia unimpressed.gif

only changed front 2 tyres..i never trust msia tyres again unsure.gif

I had a bad experience with Made-in-Malaysia-tyres too. I had a set of low profile Silverstone tyres. They looked very impressive with nice threads. After a few months, I discovered that the side wall of my front tyre had deep cracks! [hur] Immediately, I had all the 4 replaced!

I have a feeling that its the fault of the tyre shop. They either gave you a lemon (because you are a Singaporean) or they did not fit in the tyres properly.

Write a letter to Dunlop MY, add the pictures in. Let's see how professionally they respond to you. Who knows you might a set of new tyres.

I have used the D01 for almost a year already. I felt its a very good tyre. I continued to push 160kmh in the rain in Malaysia - no problems. I aqua-planed at 110kmh on the Aspec DB. Luckily it was at 4am in the morning and there were no cars around me, otherwise I might not be alive to write this now.

The D01 was recommended to me by my trusty workshop there (not in JB but somewhere near Ipoh). They said it was cheap and good, even though i was prepared to fork out alot more for a set of bridgestone. Instead of taking a higher margin, they were honest and adviced me to use the D01.

For 1 day old should try to go back to the shop to claim for replacement, whether shop process or manufacturing fault leave out for later.

If denied can get Case to help.

Hi all

just came back from the tyre shop. The mechanic told me the fella who changed the tyres is that malay guy..I have this feeling he didn't fit in properly as he appear to be "ai mai ai mai" type..anyway they apologized and refunded me $$ for both tyres. smile.gif
