Metals are no-no. Remove any aluminium foil as well.

 

Not all plastics can stand microwave, look for plastics meant for microwaving. Even so, do not microwave for too long.

 

Glass and porcelein works fine.

 

Basically you don't need to heat for a long time when microwaving. Always start with a minute or less, and stir the food to ensure even heating.

Be careful when u cook eggs in the microwave oven. The yolk can explode. To prevent that, use a folk or something sharp to perforate the yolk a few times.

Metal cannot put into MW unless it is also a convectional oven but only in oven mode.

Plastics use only microwaveable types which are normally PP

But use plastics try to use with liquid content other than that dry food try to use glass wares

I never use a Microwave oven to heat up my food, always over the fire.

 

How much time can one save by using a microwave, and you risk getting cancer from eating microwaved food. Scientists say you won;t get cancer this way but you don't get it till many many years later.
