Minicop Neutral Newbie August 26, 2007 Share August 26, 2007 I got one very mis-informed colleague who put his metal thermos into the microwave oven... He wanted to heat up the water for his tea... End up there's this metallic smell coming from the oven and there was a power trip... It didn't take long for us to locate the source as smoke was coming out from the oven... The plastic handle has completely melted... He bought a new oven to replace the old one the next day... Woh, the advise he received really cost him a bom.
