I'm on T1-R 215/45/17. Surprisingly quiet, comfy and grippy. But steering feel not as good as F1s. But overall, happy wif it.

funny u shld ask: I was using the DZ101 on my Mz5 juz before changing to the T1-R on my T5.

 

grip on the DZ101 quite CMI. was telling myself that no way will i risk using this on a TC car. dun find it exactly very quiet either; not roaring loud but definitely not quiet.

 

the sound insulation is probably better on my T5 so may not be the fairest comparison but do find the T1-Rs to hv exceeded my expectations in terms of noise and comfort. i'm running 34psi and the T5 is sprung wif sports suspension. grip is good tho steering feel could be better.

Nice review bro. I was previously on ST115. They are good but noisy for up to 40k KM. By than left tire already hit the wear indicator and had to change them. Last 2k KM can really feel the tires slipping even when moving off a little more aggressively.

 

Now on GR80 which like your T1R feels a little slippery maybe scrub-in period not over yet.

 

Contemplating to trade in the GR80 for the T1R. But really love the quietness of the GR80. Now my engine noise is so pronounce, before on ST115 I can only hear tire noise

 

Hows the tire noise for the T1R?

T1R is rather quiet when compared to Sports Maxx and AD07. Maybe just a bit louder than comfort biased tyres.

Was wondering anyone has any idea what rough pricing for size 17" and place to install the tyres.Don wana get carrot.
