Normally white light is dim but which brand n how many brand you comparing with.? If wanna compare, I should say Taiwan bulb is the dimmest, philips is one which gives you the brightest light output comparing to taiwan brand n Japan brand. Think lexus & other makes HID is also above 4.9k does that mean they are all illegal eventhough they are from the AD? Lmeng69 1st Gear August 30, 2007 Share August 30, 2007 hey bros.thinking of changing the yellow light of my avante to white blueish light. i wonder issit illigal? please advice. thanks IMO, the white lites are quite cosmetic, if tat's wat u want. Look nice but lousy projection. For best combi, Philips Vision Plus will be best. Though not as white but has one of the best projection.
