the u-turn stuff is a bit weird.. sometime can turn right immediately but the system ask me to go straight and u turn, then turn left.. din follow the instruction but still work well..laugh.gifthumbsup.gif

I am using PPC instead. Asus A696 upgraded to WM6. Find that it is more versatile as I can use my PPC for other function and it is not that bulky.

there is always some limitations to the GPS receiver(worse when the PDOP is high), you may have been so close to the right turn that it thought you have past it, so it ask you to make a u-turn ahead then make a left.

one bug i found, the battery indicator within the GPS navigation display page is always full! The real battery level is the one found on the main menu. Overall, I find the brightness and voice level good.

But the removal of the unit from the car after I parked is quite a hassle i find.. although the unit can be clipped-on within one sec and removal seldom takes more than 2 sec.

i guess the difference between garmin and holux is like BMW and hyundai. No offence to all the brands mentioned here.

All functions to their requirement, but the handling, ergonomics and comfort level is different.

If I got the dough, I'll get garmin too! maybe a rolex too! and a Merc too! [drivingcar]
