They were robbed while they were taking their afternoon siesta. In the first incident, a 32-year-old man decided to take a nap in his car at the open-air carpark near Petain Road at about 2.45 am. The self-employed man wound down the driver's side window but did not lock his car. When he woke up from his nap at around 8.45am, he found the door on the driver's side open and several valuables, including the $5,000 Rolex watch and $200 gold chain he had on him, missing. Supder duper deep deep sleep from 2:35am till next morning 8:45am. The most interesting thing about this news is NOT that he is such a super deep sleeper... Its the fact that he got so MUCH $$$ and assets on him to be stolen!! Amazing! It just goes to show that many of us are so sheltered and protected by the system here that we are idiots when it comes to self-protection and preservation.
