Kiadaw 6th Gear December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 (edited) Really 5k diff only? BTW, is it convince to quote ur price here. Anyway, I m always cautious of new technology. I would prefer to wait a little longer when all the issues have been resolve, & car become stable before buying. & when parts become cheaper, & workshops are capable of repair. Anyway, I don't really dig the "dark vader mask" front bumper. Hopefully there's good after market kits for it or Mitsubishi have a face-lift front. On a side note. The last time evo has a bumper change, they change the version from VIII to XI Edited December 9, 2007 by Kiadaw

Moonwalker Neutral Newbie December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 Anyone wanna share the pros & cons of the 5MT and the SST version ?
Neoxenon Neutral Newbie December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 MT is easy to maintain, but stuck in traffic jam good luck to you. SST is more expensive than MT, but it shifts faster and you don't need to work the clutch (there's no clutch). It's a motorized manual transmission, so you get the advantage of clutchless shifting and none of the loss associated with the auto transmission. Main disadvantage is that its not tried and tested yet, esp with such a high performance engine in the Evo. So in the long run, you're the guinea pig... Moonwalker Neutral Newbie December 10, 2007 Share December 10, 2007 Agreed..not sure it will be having problems if to mod. this SST version? Yet to see this new legend 4B11..

Kiadaw 6th Gear December 24, 2007 Share December 24, 2007 SST version should be more "wifey" friendly to drive, easiler to convince your significant half. But I think you will cry to the bank if the crutch burst. I probably do simple mod like exhaust, intake, nothing big.
Sniperben Neutral Newbie December 24, 2007 Share December 24, 2007 it come down to what you prefer.. manual or auto.. read that SST 0-100 timing is better that 5MT. but don't quote me on this please.. can't confirm it
