Hi all, anyone has received summons for speeding above limit by (41-50kph)?? Will have to go court? so far anyone know of anyone go to jail for speeding?

only will fine u...wad for jail u where u could contribute to their wallet?? unless u r unable to contribute to them = u r no use to them = throw u 1 side = jail....

To me I think the fitting in the tunnel that looks most like a speed camera is 2 tubes.

 

Usually hang on the top left corner of the wall. theres one tube opening facing you and another tube facing the other direction. This to me seems like the most speed camera like device there.

 

I did count these things in KPE from ECP to PIE there are around 4 - 5. There is one just by the exit into PIE. Take a look

Exceeding speed limit for vehicle by more than 40km/h up to 50km/h.

Exceeding the speed limit of the road by more than 40km/h up to 50km/h.

These offenders will be prosecuted in court.

 

Court Penalties:

 

1st time offender- Fine not exceeding $1000.00 or jail sentence of up to 6 months or both.

2nd or subsequent conviction- Fine not exceeding $2000.00 or jail sentence of up to 12 months or both.

But it looks most probably. one aim the front of your car to check speed and one aim the back of your car to take picture

Another useless limit set by LTA. Might as well put signage for bus and vans only.
