It's normal... it's the mechanism that would automatically return the left/right indicators when u turn the steering wheel back to the neutral (straight) position.. without this, your indicator joystick would never return back to the neutral position even after u completed the turn...

Happens to a lot of cars.. it's either soft or loud only... dun worry about it... =)

You may have gotten a lemon car if you can hear the clik clik loudly sound always when you turn on the signal and turn left or right. I suspect there is major problem with the steering or lane change system/equipment.

Best is to go back to arrange for an immediate servicing appointment with who you buy from to get the problem resolved!

Any annoying sound in a car is definately a sign that something is amiss, something is loose, or some joint is broken.

Don't play with your life, the problem may lead to a sudden failure if not treated at the early stage.

I am driving a SSS, I never notice any click click sound.

Let me guess. You are driving Latio? Correct?

Me driving Latio also. Sometimes will hear this click click when I turn the steering wheel but never notice if it only occurs if left/right indicators are on. Although I did not highlight to AD when I go for servicing, the checks did not turn up anything funny though my rear brakes do give out a soft whiny sound when I do a slow braking. Brake tested during last servicing. They found nothing wrong.

oops, I had thot you meant some mechanical part of your car is worn out, hence i suggested the CV joints. Wrong frequency lah.

Precisely that is why I ask him to go back to the car company to have it check out, as they will be giving him the most honest and relavant answers.

The authorised car maintenace guy will give the accurate answer, rather than rely on forums answers.
