Lexl Neutral Newbie July 3, 2008 Share July 3, 2008 I think Xrev has been in our local market for about 3 years now. It seems quite a few people have used it have used it with positive reviews. It is also API certified - http://eolcs.api.org/DisplayLicenseInfo.asp?LicenseNo=2380. So it is no snake oil for sure. IMHO, after running with it for a few servicing cycles, its better than the usual brand names.

Axela72 5th Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 I have been using Rev-X for the 1st time. Now only reach 4k of usage and my car FC drop from 11km/l to 8 km/l. Engine start to be very noisy as I need to accelerate more inorder to pickup. I thought my 2.5 yrs old tyre is giving me problem so I change them. but my FC is still remain the same. It is possibility due to the engine oil? Do I need to change to other brand engine oil immediately? Kindly advise..Thx
Donut Supercharged September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 stop self promoting your own oil now..... i know who you are because of your nick.......... you are the owner of this Xrev.
Axela72 5th Gear September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 Any advise? FC increase can be due to engine oil? thx
Nkps 1st Gear September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 why not u just try to change it back to what u used to use before and monitor from there, afterall, changing of engine oil wun cost u much.
Killer5010 Neutral Newbie September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 Recently switch over to AGIP 5W40 and IK Plug, run in 10K. FC seems to be better (Maybe my driving pattern improves )and noise level is definitelty lower than before (KM service ). I paid $88 for servicing with few points check ( Not sure what they did) exclude IK. Will try out Castrol on my next service to compare the diff between the 2. Whitecvt Clutched September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 (edited) Hi All, Anyone using Rev-X oil for their car ?? Me using it ... But i have some friends who comment tat it is a snake oil cos if u do a search on internet .. u cant find the manufacturer... But after i change to Rev-X i did feel some diff in the noise level and smooth ... or maybe just me? MMmm now thinking whether next time should change to Rev-X again after the comment ... Wat u guys think ?? i tried X-rev one to see what the hype is all about. and Yes... its all hype. yes yes, the engine feels "smoother" and less noisy..... but, my engine began to feel extremely rough after 1000km?? which car doesnt feel smooth after any servicing?! anyways i had the oil changed out at 5000km (habit of mine..nothing beats fresh oil and plugs) It also doesnt hold temp well... i was avg at 90 deg for normal driving.. once i drove hard it went 110. (cxxxxxe and some other brands only goes 95deg under hard driving for me) If you guys want something with paper backing... why didnt anyone mention Tufoil? its in the Guinness book of world records as world's most efficient lubricant..... i'm using it with $28.90 Carloob and i can safely say the effects are far better than X-Rev :) http://www.tufoil.com/technology.html and one review page with dyno and temperature taken http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/tuf...oil-review.html Edited September 3, 2008 by Whitecvt

Its your own company afterall. Oh Per- lease.... Stop this dubious self promotion. YOU ARE THE OWNER OF X REV. Please do not post ur messages with the misleading impression that u are a NEUTRAL forum user and go raving about the oil and mislead everyone here. Ninafrost 1st Gear September 4, 2008 Share September 4, 2008 I can be very very sure he is the owner and NO he is NOT THE RESELLER. He also owns a battered blue colour Alfa Romeo. Like u suggested. He is better off paying MCF for ads then resorting to this kinda monkey tricks. Nina ↡ Advertisement
