I think Xrev has been in our local market for about 3 years now. It seems quite a few people have used it have used it with positive reviews. It is also API certified - http://eolcs.api.org/DisplayLicenseInfo.asp?LicenseNo=2380. So it is no snake oil for sure. IMHO, after running with it for a few servicing cycles, its better than the usual brand names.

Actually, I am using this oil for the past few years

and it is also good. Maybe you can try it.

Just my 2 cents

This UOA looks amazing man. Hmm... wonder which lab did the test.. Look at the Si of 2ppm after exactly 10000km of usage. Maybe Genie47 & Ken4 should ask him what amazing air filter he used. [laugh]

maybe no airfilter mah [laugh]

there two brand of x-rex, i think, but forget the name, they even do a test on a subaru impreza with the oil drain out..amazing [dead]

Yup, depends on what viscosity u using. Thinner oil always good for mileage but it does not mean lesser enginer proctection.

In the last carshow, I saw the X-Rev booth and spoke with the guy there. Demostration looks impressive but when I told him my car engine was using MOTUL 300V, there is nothing more to show me.

Nah...can't stand people who do such things. Its really sad and makes u pissed when u see people pay so much money for a pdt which uses false information to mislead and make people part with their hard earn money. Really dispicable and shameless. Want to advertise ur pdt? be honest! Dun hide behind nicks.

You believe a car can drive without engine oil? Try it yourself on yr car. If that is truth, this oil will be the world record holder. It should rank as #1 oil in the whole world.

Saw from a forum that ppls also increase their FC after 6k usage by more than 20%. Change oil immediate and FC back to normal.

For my case, I did the same during last weekend. My FC is back to normal now.

Hi All,

Anyone using Rev-X oil for their car ?? Me using it ... But i have some friends who comment tat it is a snake oil cos if u do a search on internet .. u cant find the manufacturer... But after i change to Rev-X i did feel some diff in the noise level and smooth ... or maybe just me? MMmm now thinking whether next time should change to Rev-X again after the comment ... Wat u guys think ??

Use that before but very the rough and raw, only after adding some of my own fluid (in my nick) then the engine got smoother...

Recently I also did a test on my engine. My oil filter (The nut on my oil filter sandwich broke) flew off while I was on the xpressway, oil pressure dropped to zero. I was boosting around 1.3bar when it happened. Continued to drive until I figured what happened. Stopped along the xpressway, found my car covered in engine oil. Checked dip stick and it is clean. sweatdrop.gif Called for tow truck to tow to workshop, met Jiayong along the way. Workshop helped me replace the nut and refilled the engine oil plus a new filter (FOC!) Engine purred back to life! Whew! Now still boosting with no problems @1.3bar. thumbsup.gif Brand of oil? Hello Kitty Sports Turbo oil! laugh.gif
