ultraman oil is made in China, dun b misled by the Jippun wording. but the use of ultraman as a logo is however licensed fr Jippun.

the company making this oil is no minnow... it has many plants in china and is operated by a Jippun Kia.

used the oil before, so far so good.

Anyone used Idemitsu Extreme Eco 5W30 before? Am looking at reviews for this and looks like not too bad.

i am on this 5w30 extreme eco for about one month. good driving feeling. as for fuel economy not so much. but one thing the oil promised to reduce engine noise, yes it did. [thumbsup]

bought at 98 price.

cheers

I used b4 the honda packaging one, the idemitsu packaging and now Redline. All I can say is the first one cannot make it. idemitsu and redline are good. Me now using redline and like as the engine is quiet and does not heat up that easily. Also i read from somewhere it has some ester base or something like tt which makes the oil stick to the metal parts so as to reduce friction and wear.

Hope this helps...
