Wanderer Clutched December 31, 2007 Share December 31, 2007 Was the tail light on? Had a similar incident earlier with another rider. Saw some dark silhouette behind on my right side. It then went pass and I realised that the headlight of the bike is spoilt, only left the tail light
Nullifi3d 4th Gear January 1, 2008 Share January 1, 2008 Its not really spoilt sometimes, these bikers tend to either mask their headlights or disconnect the wirings cos it looks cool to have no headlights or one headlight on. I'm sure its pretty cool if they were suddenly side-swiped by a trailer truck. Mince meat for dinner

Mince meat for dinner i ever told my friend when he was following my car that one side of his headlight is spoilt. he told me, the bike come like this. one side for low beam, one side for high beam. iirc it was a fazer600. anyway seriously, ON THE FREAKING HEADLIGHT WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING OR RIDING LAR. sometimes during heavy rain, i see a lot of cars never turn on their headlight and tail light too. Lass Neutral Newbie January 4, 2008 Share January 4, 2008 yup for some bikes it is made like tat. 2 lights = high beam. H correct me if am wrong, i think most bikes come built w headlamp connected to ignition and tat means that once you start e bike, e light comes on unless someone does a bypass to turn on when they want to. and there are again those lacers who will cover up one of their headlights for e lacing look. Tunge 1st Gear January 4, 2008 Author Share January 4, 2008 yeah. sometimes headlight spoilt, they also don't know. or forgot to turn on headlight. i rode b4... but bikers pls confirm, it's quite obvious when the headlights of the bike is not on when at night yah. rider can see if headlight is on or not yah. Icekitten Clutched January 4, 2008 Share January 4, 2008 Usually if see those bikes with '2 headlights', normal low beam is usually one side on only. Both on will be high beam already. Bikes in SG must have the auto-on headlight. It's required by law right? So I guess, those who don't have it on must be spoilt and they delay replacing. But it's dangerous la. Usually I see more of MY bikes without headlights on. SG bikes not so much of a problem. Some more MY bikes like to cut and swerve in and out of vehicles. That makes it scarier. ↡ Advertisement
