I always kena 'block' out by other drivers too but I never show birdies... I mean if others are following the traffic flow and I want to cut in and ppl dun, than lan lan loh. Slowly indicate my intention and defintely will be ppl give way one. Then I will show the all the 5 birds.... to make a friendly wave!! [wave]

i was very surprised when someone showed me a "flying bird" when i was driving.

it happened when i was travelling from paya lebar towards geylang rd.

just after paya lebar MRT,there is about 4-5 lanes and 3 of them are strictly for "turn right" only and i was on the 2nd lane from the right waiting to turn right.

if you know the road well enough, the first 2 lane from right when you make a right turn will lead you to another two lane which is for "right turn" only back towards Paya lebar MRT.

as i was headng towards Geylang rd direction, naturally i need to filter to my left lane after my right turn.

as i was doing my right turn, there was a car on my right(going towards geylang rd too) wanted to eat into my lane without signalling.

i did not give way to him and proceed to driving and managed to filter 2 lanes towards the left heading towards geylang road.

after awhile, the driver horned at me on my right and showed me his middle finger.and when he drove pass me,he cut into my lane abruptly and showed me his "birdie" again.

i really wonder why did he do that?

does he know how to drive?

can anyone enlighten me on this nut cracking case.laugh.gif

he see u buay song lah ... veetk leh

Yup....... that stretch is terrible! Last time, only the rite most lane will go back to Paya Lebar MRT.... Now it's 2 lanes. Often see drivers trying to change lanes when they found out the changes. Stupid design I would say....

I believe the chaos is temporary. Hope after the completion of circle line, the road will resume its normal form.

But I pity those drivers who try to come out from Sing Post during peak hour. They must do the dare devil, and face the HORN !

i don't have to forgive him as i don't even knew him in the first place.

iam not angry actually as when he cut infront of me abruptly,i don't even give a damn.

i supposed his first hand sign did not angered me and he did a 2nd one.hur.gif

but i was really until now very puzzle why did he do that when i did not do anything wrong.rolleyes.gif

if the stretch of road has got his car plate printed on,i will apologise to him.laugh.gif

That part of road of the road is part. 5 lanes from paya lebar towards tj katong.

2 lanes straight to tj katong.

3 lanes for turning right towards geylang. Of the 3 lanes, the 2 extreme right lanes must do another right turn back to paya lebar. So left 1 lane for going straight to geylang. That's the cause of lot of unhappiness among drivers as many in the 2nd lane also want to go geylang and most are forcing their way to get out of lane 2.

Usually, I Q and take 3 lane to turn right and almost all the time I get drivers on my right (i.e. 2nd lane), trying to cut to my lane to go geylang. Worst some trying to change from 2nd lane to last left lane to turn to guillemard.

Geylang hot spot [laugh]
