Driftking 1st Gear February 4, 2008 Share February 4, 2008 Hi, After driving around these few months in my new ride, I sorta noticed that FIATs are generally slow for their specs. Even the ultra-sporty-looking Punto is kinda slowish. The Panda is slower than "poo on on constipation day". Is it because the cars are super-conti-heavy but powered by small cc? So, what's the plus with FIATs? In my opinion, only the Punto & Croma looks nice, but the pricing's so ugh! ↡ Advertisement

Kenmical Clutched February 4, 2008 Share February 4, 2008 I think ppl buy car for different reason bah...some like look and premium feel. Some like relaxation...some fast...some simply CHEAP car. lol
Felipe 3rd Gear February 4, 2008 Share February 4, 2008 the problem isnt with Fiat. its with the cars that are brought in. the punto has another 1.4 98bhp. but dealer only bring in 77bhp. for the weight of that car, its def slow. Panda is designed to be a town runabout, like a scooter. it serves its purpose. problem again is the pricing here. which alot more jap cars at that same pricing give a much better deal. Niteblu Neutral Newbie February 4, 2008 Share February 4, 2008 I'm not a massive FIAT fan. but Please educate yourself. Ferrari 360 vs. FIAT Panda 100HP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAQu8PMZSSk In a small circuit. The FIAT Panda loses by just 2s to the Ferrari. Go buy some po chai pills - cos I think it might be you who is constipated. Not the cars you put down.

Ncp91 1st Gear February 4, 2008 Share February 4, 2008 Might be slow but it sure a whole lot better than any China car on the road now. And with traffic congestion and speed limits being the way they are, slow isn't that big a factor anymore.

Niteblu Neutral Newbie February 4, 2008 Share February 4, 2008 Please don't be silly. HOW on earth is it possible for a Panda to catch up with a Ferrari? It's simply not possible. Unless the Ferrari driver is sleeping... Just watch the video. Same driver in both instances. Read. There are specific circumstances that the cars are being driven in. I think silly = making unabashed statements all the time. without actual understanding of reality. ↡ Advertisement
