Wind30 Turbocharged February 7, 2008 Share February 7, 2008 ya lor. Actually why they don't start a real time traffic update system. I think that would help quite a fair bit. Nobody wants to be stuck in a big Jam.... no lah, they will not change charges on the fly, like this road Jam, up charges 500% kind of stuff. Crazy. ↡ Advertisement

Nullifi3d 4th Gear February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 Do have privacy laws in SG? Cos if we don't have like the ones in US of A and Europe we're really screwed. And knowing the 66.6% are most likely to, "..Oh it must be a good thing to implement such a system. The guys at the top knows best...", have such a mentality. Not every f**k sh!t that the govt implements is actually good for us. I mean we have brains, we're mostly given a minimum of 10 years of compulsory education. I feel we've got these strings attached to our backs and i can't get rid of them. And everytime i look above i see some guy with wooden sticks and he's the guy controlling the strings. Spidercool 1st Gear February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 Maybe we should start riding motorcycles and scooters instead. The road will be less congested. This is one of the reasons why I'm still keeping my bike. Wise man thinks alike.

Whiteride Neutral Newbie February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 (edited) spend so much money might as well use the money to widen city/small road (2 to 4or more lane)/xpressway road (4 to 6 or more lanes) and more exits etc .. will effectively solve road congestion compare to charging us this and that. Their aim towards a "car-less" country ? -.-" Edited February 8, 2008 by Whiteride

Kelpie 2nd Gear February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 With such a system, they can potentially track your car speed. So if you exceed speed limit, auto issue you demerit points and fine you on the fly through computerization..my goosh. This is a good news for the road hoggers and slow drivers.
