I'm thinking of bringing the family (2 kids age 8 & 11) to port dickson for a short holiday this coming march school holiday .

Guoman very expensive. For that kind of money, Avillion will be a better choice.

It seems to me that the beach at west coast is not as good as those in east which is facing south china sea. Why don't you consider Kuantan or Charating.

At least better than the Ancasa, will not go back there anymore.

Ancasa more like service apartments and you just need to stay a night before going off somewhere.

i juz went there during cny. not bad. it has a nice view of the sea amd the sunset. but the beach look like its man-made. anyway the beach along PD not tt great either. they have an award-winning char kway teow served there.(rm25 i think) n if i'm not wrong the hotel has halal certification also. but i suggest u go reccee around the area for food better. many thai seafood restaurants.

I was at the Tiara beach resort 2 years back and that was really basic .

I pass by Avillion on the way back and went in to have a look which really impress me as compare to Tiara .

The problem is there is nothing close to Avillion in SG. Perhaps, something like that may emerge when IR is here. Again, it is meant for the tourist and I don't believe spending SG dollars to stay in expensive Hotels in SG. The same go to Avillion, not many of their locals would want to spend RM to stay too. Another alternative could be the Legend.

I know there are 2 ways to go PD..just wanna know which one is better..

 

1 is exit at Pedas Linggi exit on NSH and take federal road to PD..this will enter PD from the south.

 

Another is go all the way up to Seremban and take NSH-PD expressway..

 

Also, what attractions are there at PD? other than the beaches?
