I wished i could ask them to take it out and give me a discount. Unfortunately things does not work this way here. You can be sure i'll pay more if i ask them to remove it! [laugh]

Ya, its very irritating. I prefer to have full control. Thats y i always deactivate the auto lights and the rain sensor when i drive. cool.gif

Not bad, still got Auto Rain Sensor. I know there is aftermarket auto rain sensor selling at $280, was thinking to install it in the first place but after think twice, probably I should spend that money for Scan Gauge II instead which is more worth it. thumbsup.gif

The best part is that I have Electro-Chromatic Rear View Mirror, whenever there is bright light coming from the rear, my EC rear view mirror will dim it down for me! thumbsup.gif

wat has tat got to do with the TS's topics? laugh.giflaugh.gif

Auto headlights is my *default* choice whenever it is dark.

BUT to prevent it from turning ON/OFF by itself, I force it to be always ON.

I do this by covering up the light sensor on the top of the dash using some thick paper.

In this way it is not really auto anymore and turns on only when I choose to.

But it will still automatically turn off when I turn the engine off - no more dead batteries! [:)][:)]

I have been using auto light for my past few cars.

This is good. Why bother with the headlight if they can take care for you.

Min Spec for me usually auto wiper, Auto light, rear view dimmer.

Kind of lazy.

No need to use auto light as my unit even can auto off after eng off when door is open.

I prefer not to use it not because of on/off going under bridge, mine is full on with dip light when put to auto. Under head lights on, the chance of blowing the head lamp is there during starting of car.

Next time they will provide auto pilot also..

OT a bit.. may i ask if the sockets for all car's main headlight is standard? thinking of changing the bulbs to slightly whiter (legal) ones..

i find tat auto headlights should be omplemented as a standard item n all cars must switch to tat position, like bikes, they must hv their headlights all the time.

well, we do not need to hv the lights on all the time in the day for cars as cars r bigger in size, so more visible.

but the good thing will be in mulit-storey car parks, as these car parks are usually much darker, and people walking to their cars, walk like its their grandfather road, in the middle, so with the auto headlights on, these people will notice cars coming
