Zniper 2nd Gear February 20, 2008 Share February 20, 2008 hmm, although i do not have these auto features... but i find tat no point having all these.. cos it will become driving already... seriously i a bit regret getting auto car, but tat time the last batch of the older b4 face-lifted version no more manual already... driving is about enjoying the ride and the gadgets inside if any, not about juz ram accelerator and the car will move... juz my point of view... Turbonetics 2nd Gear February 21, 2008 Share February 21, 2008 is kind of irritating for the car infront... many times, when i go pass overhead bridge, the auto light of the car behind will came off... i tot they beam me for what.... actually when i enter underpass,i will always worry people infront will get offended and think i beam at them. so i always keep a further distance in case some of them jam brake. but my light is align properly as not to shine into the car's cabin. Tanjkp Clutched February 21, 2008 Share February 21, 2008 Yes, I always switch it to Auto mode as it is very useful to switch on headlight when going into tunnels or multi-storey carpark. The best part is that I have Electro-Chromatic Rear View Mirror, whenever there is bright light coming from the rear, my EC rear view mirror will dim it down for me! Fwah electro chromatic rear view mirror... sibeh state of the art expraination leh... My car calls this function ---> Auto dimming rearview mirror nia nia So chirpskate same some ink on the printing of brochures mar Auto on lights are good for tunnel entry and prevent drivers who always forgot to turn off. The down side of it (mine) is if the main is always on, will risk the chance of blowing the main during starting of engine as the auto lights will turn on the moment acc and start is activated. Porker Turbocharged February 21, 2008 Share February 21, 2008 Brother, please check the internet and do a search in Yahoo or Google, the actual term is called Electro-Chromatic Rear View Mirror and not Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, this term is given by manufacturer itself so that it is easier to understand the main function of the mirror. I search internet for what brudder? My car not same brand as yours thats why different name lor. Anyway what do you mean by blowing off the main? Is not the Engrs fault, the power surge during the cranking of engine will have some erratic current / voltage flow on the whole car. One main already blown off after less than 3 mth used. My Auto light will work only after switch over to main & further turn. Some friends also ever experienced this (non-auto L cars) when the car stalled (M/gear) saw one side suddenly became darker when started the car with the main on.
