On my way back to SG ard 10.30pm, was using the lane at the Right, queue to check boot and found out that only 1 lane (1 officer) was open for boot checking... Dunno about the lane at the Left though...

boot full? u brought along pram iszit? else quite hard to have full boot

1. I often have bags and bags of purchase from JB in my boot. Last weekend, the custom officer wanted me to show him the receipts for all the goods that I've purchased. Luckily I didn't throw them away. Probably want to check whether I bring in banned items into the country or not [laugh].

2. So better keep all your receipts if you bought a bootful of items.

Yesterday seems to be back to normal.. brought my other half with me so that we can scan both our thumbprint.. but alas.. the scanner is there, we look on earnestly but they didn't request us to scan..

what a bummer [:/]

maybe they saw ur hello kitty thumb print logo that's why nv ask u to scan? [:p][laugh]

nowadays they don't do 100% scan anymore. but when i took bus yesterday, i saw them asking chinese female to scan thumb print also?? so they suspect selamat changed sex and skin color too? [hur]

I was back on sunday... Not much jam. Queue was very fast and smooth. nothing leh.

The jam is very very bad on fri 12am going into malaysia. Singapore custom took about 1 hour to clear us while the malaysia side took us about 2-3 minutes.

How I wish Singapore custom standard improves to be like those in malaysia 2nd link.

what time was it? usually those secondary clearance is not really ICA people.. it's outsource cisco..

or you kena drive in?

customs clearance also manned by ICA officers who are also customs officers . . . however sometime the manpower complemented by SPF officers . . . CISCO officers more engaged to man the security of the checkpoint and also to direct traffic
