What for I study so hard for a degree? KNS, I also want to go sell car liao.

it's not so easy.

your weekends mostly all burnt, owners will call you at all hours for anything that goes wrong (imaginary or not), your relationships suffer for your lack of time, etc.

and if your luck no good for a particular month or quarter (depending on which dealer), and you don't hit your sales quota, out you go!

and where can you go after that?

From what i gather, many of them do get quite a few off days each week during weekdays..(to enjoy the money.. without the crowd!). And if Honda can sell 2000 cars a month, and say 1000 is sold by Parallel Importer, and KAH has 50 SE, each SE still rake in 20 cars a mth. Say if its 500/car on car alone (excl loan commission etc), they can still make 10K easily.... OMG!!

Bro, Kah motor has around 120 SE...BM at least 160 SE...and they are still employing...u wana join?sly.gif

i understand from my last SE from KM that there are some rule regarding SE approaching buyer...

cos they don't want to have any miss understanding with other SE in case the buyer they approached already had a SE servicing them...

i was at BM the last time & approached an SE & he asked me if i already had SE servicing me b4...i told him no...then he was very friendly & helpful towards me in answering all my queries...

it the same scenario when i was at VW & mercedes showroom last mth none of the SE approach me..till i went to the counter to ask for assistant...straight away they assign an SE to attend to me... [laugh]

Nissan has this policy too, a new SE s not allowed to attend to you if you have already been attended by another SE in the last 14 days.

Their 'T' brand alone already so established & sell very well over here hence they need not put in much effort to do their selling [;)]

I read all the comments and what I felt is that being SE long term is no good 1, look at them, all so young and lively age at most less than 35... one look can tell company dunwan old... where got future this job

i do not think age is really the key factor. If you provide good service, it will have a chain effect just by word or mouth. Using just looks/youth will give you many one time deal. Then THAT wont be able to sustain you for long term.
