Did MCF did a Double-Std?

Surprising the thread on the Honda double-parking was sweep under the carpet(removed) twice. Notwithstanding the cult personal remarks by some members here, others were constructive. Whatever the reasons, the act of double parking is not a practice we should encourage.

 

One member tried explaining why it double-parked was because the parent feared the children opening the door. This is a education problem.

 

Instead of counselling or taking action against those who give uncouth personal remark about the person who appeared in the picture, MCF removed the whole thread. Were they 'under-pressured'?

 

There are so many thread here that have these personal attack but they remained up till this day. Eg the Merc driver vs the BMW and the NTUC providing massage service(which is totally untrue).

What you mean? You mean the stomp honda civc, the $100k car woman? Is it removed? i just posted in it yesterday.

 

BTW i think it is not double parked la... the thread was it was parked in 2 lots.... my understanding of double parked is cars parked beside each other in parallel lots and blocking exit....

nope, the 1st one was put up by me.

 

my intentions was to state that regardless of the situation, one shd make it a point to be considerate.

 

n those with young kids will know that as an adult, we shd try to get the door for them or constantly re-enforcing those with kids or passengers to open their door with consideration to make parking in Spore less stressful affair.

 

though i didn't dish out any personal attack, apologies are still in order to those who were directly/indirectly affected by it.

 

regretably (pardon the spellg), i didn't realise that not many can handle these kind of discussion in a civil manner and requested the admin to remove it.

 

i hope everyone is cool after it.

the weird thing is its not just MCF, the CTR forum and Civic forum all similarly removed any thread discussing the $100k Silver CTR... And the admins there says something along the line of 'the posting is okay but to prevent any legal issues with the continous discussion/blastings, they had to remove it'~
