Coin-telephone installation (procedure, question)

My sis has a small shop with quite a number of foreign workers near her location.

She is thinking of installing a coin telephone at her shop so that the workers without a HP could still make a call. She is looking at the typical orange color public phone used in coffee shops or provision shop.

What is the procedure and how much would such a phone cost?

Thanks for your inputs.

i think it's best to give a call to telecom the procedure for installing one in the provision shop as maybe a new line is needed or perhaps it's able to tap into the existing line from the shop.

for the typical orange 10cents coin phone should be costing a few hundreds. but is the phone able to make long distance call to places like india/china? the typical orange phone has been around since i was a kid.

oh, yahoo got 1 auction used black color at $218, can go take a look.

telcos has stopped renting coin operated payphone out for a long time. if u want, u hv to buy them fr some of these suppliers and fix it urself and u hv to get them to repair it.

do note, not safe to keep them outside the shop after hours.

Isn't it better to install phonecard operated phones? They usually make overseas calls. Nowadays dun see coin operated phones anymore.

I think money is also better selling phonecards.
