damaged my original FD2 rim slightly today :( . Any recommendations for a good workshop in the East to do rim repair at a reasonable price ? Thks.

Another option can try SZE KANG AUTOMOBILE at AMK AUTOPOINT. U can get them at 82019979. Look for Anthony. But both should require u to bring ur ride down for them to see 1st.

Where is Lim Tan, Sin Ming where you got your rim repair at $35, per wheel or all 4? Will do mine during the December holiday and give my 5-cent opinion here.

only one rim. the scratches about 1.5cm. FYI the colour of the rim also play a part on the price. Hope it helps.Regards.

I went for a spray paint for the rims recently. Using those car paint. But the problem is...I'm not sure how long this will last. I went to a tyre shop and he noticed that it's spray painted. Told me that spray painted rims....cannot last as long as the original paint unless its powder coated spray paint.

 

I know powder coated spray paint is more tahan....but seems it's not commonly available? Probably expensive also.....?

i helped a fren repair the Original white FD2R rims at sze kang before.. i have to admit its very well done i couldn find the original marks tat was scraped.. ya i dealt w Anthony.. price abt there too

You can try the shop inside caltex station along macpherson rd. It's next to Stamford tyres. Not bad, my colleague went there and he is happy with the results. $35 per rims. you can try to ask for rims to be fitted onto ur ride and collect urs the next day.
