Hit above 210kph on Ns highway in dec...car was steady...engine did not sound strained...infact the only sound i heard was my wife screaming to me to slow down...

 

My ride...BMW E92 323i coupe 2.5L inline 6 na....i think its easy to drive on NS....the challenge and real skill is when u drive in convoy on the trunk roads and need to overtake...that takes good judgement and handling of the car....

 

But today I did a record speed on sinkie land...I hit 40kph on the way back from work during peak hour on CTE.....NOW THATS A FEAT....40KPH ON CTE DURING PEAK HR OK!!!

I'd be glad if someone can share his car rated top-speed vs the actual highest speed ever achieved on his car?

I dont usually travel so fast....average speed on NS for me is around 160-180kph. I saw this Audi TT coming in rear view mirror...he was forcing all the cars to the left. I was at 165kph and I moved left to let him pass....then i immediately swung back behind him and paced him...170, 180, 190, 200, 210kph...he kept forcing all the cars to the left...then we hit a long empty stretch and he was STILL PULLING AWAY FROM ME AT 210KPH...

 

My wife was screaming like all hell broke loose...and sanity prevailed and i eased back down to 160kph....that Audi TT must have been doing above 250kph wil 3L easily under the hood...in the last stretch when the road was clear of traffic I floored the pedal and my car short forward from 190 to 210kph....BUT THE FELLA WAS STILL PULLING AWAY FROM ME!!!....

 

I have to say this...its so nice to drive up north. On sinkie road u might as well be driving Mr Bean car....there is no diff.....jam all the way....30kph stop...35kph stop.....idle....xian...

26 Dec NS highway right? I was there running with that TT he tailed me at first then we both loot. too bad i was on full load with 5pax + luggage

it was early Dec...and it was a black Audi TT with almost opague tinted windscreen malaysia plate...is it the same car as the one u met?....

i always thought of Audi TT as a girlie car like a beetle....then my fre told me there are 3L models....at 120kph the spoiler auto deploys.....

 

That thing was PULLING AWAY AT 210KPH....scary man....i know my ride can keep going but his acceleration was way better...3L versus 2.5L...plus his car was smaller so his power to weight ratio was much higher....

 

Its times like this that you really see the diff between the higher end capacity cars.....and alas its a difference you will never ever notice on sinkiepoor roads....

Hahaha the biggest difference for me its overtaking on B roads can feel the supercharged rush.

 

I think its the same Audi but different day.
