Ev0lutionz Clutched December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 today along clementi ave 2, a whole family was walking on the middle of the road, think after marketing. Mother i guess walking on the right side of the road when the center divider is just next to her. Grandma, walking right in the middle along with their young children.. So i just horn and slowed down just to let them cross. In any case, am i in the wrong to horn them? How come tp dont take action against jaywalkers? ↡ Advertisement
Rncw 5th Gear December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 i think as long as you dun knock them down...its okay to horn at them..coz the road is for cars and not for them to suka suka walk like their grandfather's road
Ev0lutionz Clutched December 5, 2008 Author Share December 5, 2008 I just read SBF and brings me to wonder, what if i horn then someone with a heart condition has a heart attack due to it? Will i be implicated?
Xefera 6th Gear December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 well, even if the law doesn't come after you, i am sure the family of the victim will hunt you down
Safetyleo Neutral Newbie December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 1) tp can't be everywhere, I am sure if TP was around there, action will be taken... 2) If horn them, they scare, slip n fall, and rab over by other car.... So....better don't give a long horn....maybe a short one...just to alert.... You know, some horns are really loud...
Rncw 5th Gear December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 knowing that the person got heart condition, the family still let the person walk in the middle of the road??? thats what i call "looking for death" firstly, you do not know the person got heart condition second, the person is putting itself in danger and to other road users
Virus 2nd Gear December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 Depend on the pedestrian, if elder, pregnant or look disabled, will tap horn for warning. If abled-body, will blast horn loud loud.

Ed2win2 Neutral Newbie December 5, 2008 Share December 5, 2008 I usually slow down & let them pass, nothing we can do really. Horning is just a way of venting our frustration. Taking action against jaywalkers is not well enforced here, except maybe for those jaywalking hotspots. Once I saw 3 police officers standing by the side of the road between peninsula hotel & funan centre just to catch jaywalkers. Many got tickets once they cross over to the other side.
