Sometimes I am just amazed. In Singapore, most cars are new, solid braking system, nice roads, nice road signs, but there are always major accidents. Why??? In JB, cars are old, roads are crap, roads sign are barely visible, but I have never seen a major accident involving few cars in my 15 years of stay there. I think cars can stop better on uneven roads filled with some potholes. Even roads in sg give more chance for cars to slide forward when braked hard. Stary Turbocharged January 5, 2009 Share January 5, 2009 sometimes I wonder if it is really true that some accidents could be cause by the standby "nice man" and his tow truck.

In fact for auto car you dun need to shift gear can focus more. Ppl dun practice keeping a safe distance. All kan cheong spiders, no patience. Razgriz Clutched January 5, 2009 Share January 5, 2009 i believe la.. boils down to the indivdual ba... MY road condition so bad.. they still can drive smoothly? hw come SG cant? sigh..

All kan cheong spiders, no patience. I think most manual car drivers don't really have to focus too much about the stick. It comes as second nature after a while. I know I do. Also, driving manual cars is usually not as dull / sleepy an experience as compared to driving an auto. Driving auto cars I feel have the tendancy to get careless due to the driver being too comfortable.

As any bikers who do touring in the 3 lands and I believe they would agree with me. It is far more dangerous to ride in Singapore, then comparing to ride in Malaysia or Thailand. Razgriz Clutched January 5, 2009 Share January 5, 2009 totally agree with Zen.. although i don do touring ... but riding in MY & riding in SG theres a big diff.. although MY drivers seems reckless.. they still will give way...

There is a road work at the said area in both directions. I believe it is road widening... Was travelling that area yesterday and suddenly, the 1st lane (outer lane) was blocked & filtered toward the second lane without any form of warning at 200meters ahead..... . Couldn't imagine, every cars was travelling at 90km/h and jammed on their brakes ....... A few near misses yesterday and I was thinking, it bound to happen sooner or later ........ ↡ Advertisement
