Cigarette butt found in Eu Yan Sang herbs

Eu Yan Sang has pulled one of its products, Xia Ku Cao herbs, off the shelves after a customer complained that she had found a cigarette butt in one of the packets.

 

Delise Oh and her husband take Chinese herbs regularly. Last Sunday, they discovered a cigarette butt in the herbs that she had bought the previous month.

 

Upon closer examination, she saw that the butt had Chinese wordings on it.

Your take in this matter, if you are the victim, scare me as a consumer. No one can tell had the couple just bring the matter to EYS, will EYS take the actions they are taking? Then again how would the general public know about this matter and take precaution?
