Hulk 1st Gear January 28, 2009 Share January 28, 2009 Yes but I wonder how the Warden capture the pics. It will be helpful if the pic shows my car behind other vehicles and with my brake light and signal light on. However, if they only capture my carplate, the Warden may lie and say otherwise. My mum was a victim when she made an appeal for parking summon. The parking wardens lied about the incident and LTA trusted them instead. By the way, how do I go about writing in the appeal? Thank you. The Warden is using video cam...not digital still pic cam....i noticed a lot of time they just stand there with hands in pocket
Toapayohkid 1st Gear January 28, 2009 Share January 28, 2009 yah, appeal. first time sure they let go. but really, some of these bus lanes are real c--k. coz jams instead of free jams. e.g. orchard road turn left into cathay that road after plaza singapura. cars when to turn left, bus want to get out of their bus lane. Agilxd Neutral Newbie January 28, 2009 Share January 28, 2009 bro, the summon letter u rcvd from LTA, turn behind page, there is a fax no. which u just need to fax ur appeal letter to. Once fax, do give them a call to checked if they rcvd ur appeal thru fax and the rest will be history...either they waive ur summon or otherwise.... FYI, jus need to write a beautiful short story and convince them that ur concious are clear that there was no intention of commiting the offence at that point of time....i done before the same way and they waived my summon....GOOD LUCK! Kane123 Neutral Newbie March 24, 2012 Share March 24, 2012 Totally agree with you hamburger, juz received a fine which also happen at jurong town hall. Since the lines being drawn are so c**k up, wat i do now is, if l am not able to cut in, juz stop in e middle lane n wait to filter. ppl behind can honk but tis is wat LTA force mi to.... more people will be being agitated in this situation after receiving c**k up fines and react this way. Then slowly lta will notice and redraw the line..

He say sorry to me while I am still at the door. I don't really like to give way to buses if that we r both travelling on routes with bus lanes. Hence this is wat happen. They don't stay in their lanes and y should we care so much about them?

Vangaat Neutral Newbie March 24, 2012 Share March 24, 2012 The wardens also v smart and cunning, camp at those kind of places. Then wait for people to appeal. Some fools might just pay wo appealing. Cb case.
I_RIDE_DEEP 2nd Gear March 24, 2012 Share March 24, 2012 Hi, I just received a letter from LTA for an offence of driving in bus lane during prohibited hours. I still remember what happened and it is ridiculous for them to fine me for this! May I know how I can go about writing in an appeal? The incident happened on 6th Jan at around 6pm+. I was travelling on Jurong Town Hall Road towards AYE direction. There was 3 lanes and in order to turn left towards IMM direction, I need to keep to the left lane. However, it was during peak hour and the left lane was jam. Therefore, I queue up in the left lane behind the jam waiting to turn left. At the point of time, my car had to be behind the Yellow Dotted area and just at the end of the Yellow Solid Line. I think the Dotted Line was only 10metres long? I did notice the Warden but wasn't expecting him to capture my car (there was no flash either) since it was not on purpose. Also, after a few seconds there were a couple of cars came and joint behind mine. Fyi, I had my Left Signal Light on before switching to the left lane and until I turned turn. If LTA consider this as an offence, does it mean for my situation, I have to jam brake in the middle lane and wait until the left lane (yellow dotted line area) is clear then I can cut in?? And if thats the way, I will be causing the middle lane to jam too. Hi Bro. I am familiar with the problems with that stretch. I believe you have a case. Abachee 2nd Gear March 24, 2012 Share March 24, 2012 (edited) To hell with the bus lane rule or the warden. I would rather stick to the middle lane and when my intended destination is reach, I will signal left and turn left abit and brake while waiting for opportunity & space to filter lane and reach my intended destination. If wanna jam, then let it jam lor. Then best is the whole road all jam and cannot move, then you will see the warden got no choice but to step out and control the traffic but letting those car to filter to bus lane. who to blame but the LTA warden to be blame lor. Haha.... They started this bus lane rule and start issue summon and fine ppl, then we shld even more stay in our middle lane and only filter when you need to and wait for space to cut into left lane. If cannot able to cut in, the wait lor and take out ur mobilr phone to surf MCF lor. Dun forget its a Bus Lane and its meant for bus and not car. Why would I bother to drive into it. Haha... Whoever bugger beo song or wanna horn, I make sure he taste my baseball bat homerun. Edited March 24, 2012 by Abachee ↡ Advertisement
