Did think of the GT-R, but somehow, the appeal of the Porsche's refinement and finesse with the fun factor is there. I dun wan sth like RAW power...i good boy oni travel max speed 80km/h nia [angel]

Boxster slightly more of a "poser", Cayman more "focus". Essentially its what body shape you prefer.

09 model non S will be equipped with 2.9 litre engine, while the S models will get the direct injection 3.4 litre engine.

At this price range, the Audi TTS coupe or roadster comes into mind.

While hardly a poor image, still loses out to Porsche in terms of badge desirability......

Another alternative is the New soon to be launched Z4.

Tks pal....have had beemers and the badge appeal to me is no longer there as a 'driver's car'. The porsche, or Masers would have to be next. But in terms of the fun factor, i take the Porsche anytime, being MR, gives it the kick.

Tks for your comments, yeah, me inclined to the cayman more and the shape is more..yummy [thumbsup]

I had the boxster for a day and it really was a great car, and now i would have to imagine the cayman at a better level then.

I didtry the TT, and quattro with it's benefits, still to me not appealing, as a true RWD still cuts the icing for a sports car

Not questioning your ability to pay for the new MY09 car, but seems like recently (even today's classified) there is lots of adverts for the previous gen Cayman 2.7 by PIs.

You might wish to take a look. Prices dangled kinda tempting, tho the usual caution applys when dealing with them.

haha...bro you are so politically correct..appreciate it. Yup, me also looking as honestly, i rather take a car that has the 1st dep cut bore by the first rich bugger..hhaa...does not make sense to lose $80k in a yr...I would be more inclined to resale, and I do note a few 2.7s running around looking for new owners....

Timing is key I guess, which is why me starting early as the downtrend would hit by mid jun, and then i bite [bounce1]

Have to be, someone else might jus be a tad sensitive and think "I look you not up".

Also with the iminent arrival of the new model, plus the economic outlook, perhaps some of the PIs might be inclined to earn much less.

Believe even with the prices they are advertising, still have a handsome/decent profit for them.

They should be 1 of the more ok PIs to get from.....

You are welcome, happy hunting, and do share with us the outcome.
