Kelpie 2nd Gear March 23, 2009 Share March 23, 2009 (edited) When I was flipping through the old army photos, whether taken in ROC, Aussie, Brunei or Thailand, they quickly reminded me of the good old days . Those days we complaint so much about the hardship but we did have "fun" along the way. Though I'm medically excused for reservist, I would occasionally call up those who are still in service to check on their progress and we sometime meetup and go to those usual places for our favourite dinner dishes. It could a simple breakfast with roti prata too . Kinda of miss NS , crazy isn't it? I guess to some here, reservist mean "holiday camp", away from office politics and naggy wife . Sorry for mispelling the NFS...Should be NSF...Haha...By the way, what do they call them these days...still NSF? BoneStock 5th Gear March 23, 2009 Share March 23, 2009 agree...many of those in my reservist unit were also the same guys during active times. So we actually spent almost 15 years together. It's been 6 years since I completed my reservist and I still meet up with a couple of these old pals. The only thing that I dont miss is IPPT.... Thick and thin together, been through most of our life journeys, dating to married to having children. I am so glad that I have met this bunch of life long buddies! Wow you enlisted same year as me. I was close to a couple of my Tekong Camp 1 buddies, but not sure why we did not keep close contact after that. I still have their numbers too. Nonetheless, I am still close to the two batches of guys under me, as well as the reservist bunch that I am with now. For that I am really grateful.
