wah - so jia luck

in that case i better apply PM leave, tear $20 coupon, drive to the station and cope a place at 1pm

die die must have discount petrol!!!!! [sweatdrop]

Surprising the queue wasn't as bad as wat most people expected.

I reached the Caltex at Frankle at 6:55, was given the number 12.

Pump still shows $1.5x, but recipe shows 41% discount.

Probably most people do not believe their vehicle can run in Ron 92 petrol.

I reached caltex near my workplace at about 7.15pm.

Not much queue too. I was 3rd in line with 4 cars pumping but i think the queue start to build up due to held up at cashiering.

I paid and realised i was number 18.

Total time waiting less than 10mins. Total dollar saved $21.00.

Can use citibank dividend cc somemore. So got extra 5% rebate. :D

Neutral Newbie

Hi Guys,

I am tempted to try but in the long run isnt it bad for the engine compare to 95 or 98..since it has higher level of carbon..for the engine.

Is it true that 92 got more carbon?

i pumped 92 sometimes. like today, was pleasantly surprised with the huge discount.

perhaps like me, many other people didnt know about the discount so no queue at all, at the pump station minutes from my house.

92 is suitable for many cars , big and small

Pumped at Serangoon Gardens. The queue was crazy. I was the 2nd one because I camped there since 6.45pm. Hoho! Cheers to Caltex!

guess not many out there drive the puny cars requiring 92 now

good for u chaps

On the contrary, I see Merc, BMW, Wish and Honda Stream oh ya and a Rav-4 pumping 92 when I returned to my car from the cashier ya. So 92 doesn't just fit the puny cars dude!

Guess i am one of those who drive a puny car.

Actually wasting bandwidth on you but then once in a while the chance comes along and i simply cannot stop myself.

I dont think a forum like this deserve to have this kind of member uttering this kind of demeaning nonsense (what queuing up with satay fans, wahahaa!).

Totally uncalled for.

What does the rest think?
