Sharp tip from vaccuum didnt't work?

No dirt inside as yet. Sooner of later sure have. I think the gap is too narrow in insert the tip. I thought toyota should have a more simple and elegant way to get around this

Not sure man ...i can try to check when i drop by next..last week dropped by to get some servicing supplies ahead of my 20K with Transglober

i also noticed my car missing some rubber parts...must have fallen off during washing or something (rubber knob protector for rear door)

also funny you should ask about the 4 railings...at the start of the railing there is this rubber with a rubber looking screw..i damaged one of them by putting the car slider metal stopper at the wrong place then trying to force the car seat to be pushed further

so gotta replace some of these rubber things..will call them tomorrow or something...which part exactly do you want replace or just asking asking lol ;-)

might be best to go down & ask as he will show you the schematic of the part & there are so many part numbers it takes time to be 100% sure the part you are after

anyway keeping that part clean. guess like Peta mentioned use the vacuum sharp nose

Hi guys, I have shortlisted Voxy but I noted something interesting. Why is it that the 8 seaters is cheaper than the 7 seaters?

The seats for 7 is luxurious. Imagine golden village gold class seats vs wooden bench at botanic gardens. Exaggerated but the spirit is there

This is typical among all jap car makers and models. 7-seater version have 2 individual seats instead of a bench. Also, a 7-seater and 8-seater would have slight difference in seat arrangement possibilities. Please go jap website to have a look before you commit. Rarely would come along a MPV that can be flexible enough to do both 7-seat and 8-seat arrangement, but there would be compromises, both objective and perceived, elsewhere to be fair.

If you choose Voxy, then must decide whether a 7-seater would fit your needs. Please do not compromise on safety. Happy car hunting.

Many thanks for your reply, Heartlander. Safety is paramount as I have 4 kids. For practical reasons I am considering 8 seaters due to my family size plus grandparents (when on outing). But correct me if I am wrong, your opinion is 8 seaters is more dangerous? Please enlighten, so far I have driven sedans only.

I'm sure the intention is that if you need to seat 8 persons, you should go for the 'less luxurious' therefore cheaper 8 seater which has 8 seat belts, rather than the more luxurious 7 seater and try to seat 8 persons with only 7 seat belts, which is not safe or at least not as safe.

Bro Atrecord has answered splendidly on my behalf.

Personally I would prefer the 7-seater version as there would be an isle between the 2 individual seats allowing access to 3rd row without shifting the 2nd row. But life is always about compromises so you have to weigh your needs carefully. If your outing with granparents is only very occasionally, then I would advise that you get the 7-seater variant as you would reap the benefits on daily basis. It is tiring to adjust the seats for access to 3rd row if have to do daily, but that is my opinion only.

Someone mentioned rear crash at 50km/hr survival rate is low. So with 4 kids, still good to take 8 seater to fill up the 1st and 2nd row rather than risk anyone at rear.

From a safety perspective, consider booking one with curtain/side airbags too!

4 kids !! Nice ..can imagine the fun n laughter in your house:)

8 seater is probably best suited ..especially with 6 is the min family size.

but really your choice...the seat arrangement on both vehicles very flexible...n later on when the kids are grown up its possinle to convert the 8 into a 7 seater... with some extra cost of course but the rails on both models are exactly the same distance..so its only the seats you need to change

On safety. Its a valid concern. Mpvs , suvs don't do so well in rear end acccidents. I posted some side n frint crash test in this thread of the triplet..pretty good.

I guess you can drive more defensively ..keep an eye out for tailgater..give way dun stay in the fast lane if u have a tail gater...passenger n car safety first that sort of thing.

Its my 6th plus year with a Mpv...my kids ride in the middle row mostly but i di drive defensively for the most part of it...but do have my moments if madness..

If you already ferrying 6 in the sedan now...someone isn't belted so i imagine being rear ended would be pretty serious too.

I guess you have to weigh the risks n statistical chances of an accident also against your driving style. Etc etc

If u decide to go MPV..the triplets are darn giod value for money.

Currently the 2 litre market has few choices locally

Therr is the triplets...biante and i understand the honda stepwagon is also available.

This the triplet thread & many here i assume probably already own one learning more about the car.. or are deeply interested in one or drive a some other mpv n just keeping updated on the triplets n some other etc etc.

like to find out. for those already driving Esquire, how much is per full fuel tank of top up on 95? How is the fuel consumption for 1 full tank of pump?

Yesterday went to see the Esquire, Voxy and Stepwagon Spada. Was really amazedc by the interior size and cargo space after third row seat folding down due to the van-like body. CO after seeing this 3 boxy car has even dropped the idea to look on the Wish. Voxy at 143K (2L, FC:16km/L)looks really promising on the price which is hard to turn down, Esquire at 149k is almost similar to voxy but the nose is too fierce to our liking and Spada at 153K (1.5L turbo engine, FC:17km/L) although way above my budget but the interior feel, the gadget, the rear waku waku rear door and the dashboard makes Toyota feel a little boring.....gonna be a tough decision
